Presentation «The road map on a decommissioning from exploitation of the Kola nuclear power plant» at Social Council session on safe using of atomic energy on Murmansk area.

On December, 23rd in territory of Rosatomflot passed the next session of Social Council on safe using of atomic energy on Murmansk area. At this session we had been presented the document «The road map on a decommissioning from exploitation of the Kola NPP» within the limits of the international project "Decommission". This document is working version 1.0. The purpose of its creation to involve in dialogue it is as much as possible people in working on by it. This document at present reflects our image on process of a decommissioning of exploitation. We acted with the civil initiative of creation of this road map and we offer all who wants to share over work of this document to join the given process. Also we understand that the Kola atomic power station is not object of eternal operation and the question on its conclusion undoubtedly rises before the subsequent generations of inhabitants of Murmansk area, and it is very important, that they had at least the plan about what they should face and as it is necessary to operate. Probably some think, of, whether far we look in the future, on what it is possible to object that in China and in many countries of the world the minimum planning to be made with depth a minimum of 30 years, and also, the people which do not think of the future generation are doomed to extinction. Therefore let's think now of our future. We are opened for any reasonable offers. Offers will be accepted till January, 31st, 2012. In February we planned seminar carrying out to Murmansk where we can is narrower in more details work a road map and solve the future of this document. All participants who share in working on by this document will be invited to this seminar and date will be declared in advance. If circumstances develop so that will be necessary for more time for working on by the document, we are ready to shift term of carrying out of a seminar.
